Were you a pupil or member of staff, or knew of anyone who attended between 1950 to closure in 1965? If so, will you email or telephone with a view to a reunion for your class group, or years of attendance.

NB. Why this page is on the Web.

Purely out of my own interest I wondered what happened to the school records, as the school building still exists and is used I believe, as a drop-in centre! I tried to obtain details from St Martins Church, (who had no idea or interest) and made many telephone enquiries plus visits to library's etc. Eventually I discovered the Admittance and Discharge Register, at the City of London Records Office, situated in Clerkenwell London. I was amazed to see the hand-written entries, with the pupils' names etc. which brought back a flood of memories.

Since leaving the school, I have always been in close contact with a school friend, and told him of my find but then let the matter drop. However another former pupil, who resides in the USA, was on holiday in England contacted my friend, and the three of us subsequently visited the Records Office. The other pupil said that he would like to have a reunion for our class, and I offered to act as the co-ordinator. I advertised in several publications, for the years 1955-1959, (our class group) but had limited response, however I received telephone calls from pupils in other years. This was when I decided to advertise from 1950-1965, and act as a central contact point, and when enough people from a particular year had contacted me, ask one of them to arrange a reunion or whatever, for their year group.

Anyway, enough is enough. If you have any information. email me at.
